The Centre celebrates all the major social and religuous festivals for the communities which it serves.

It has a mini bazaar annually and holds ad hoc car boot sales to raise funds.

The Centre usually tries to schedule at least one outing for the members.

There is a programme of visiting speakers who are able to give members information on healthy lifestyles, how they can make adjustments to maintain a good sense of wellbeing and get to know each other in a more relaxed environment.  We have an ongoing programme of engagement with the local services such as Age Concern, Social Services, Community Policing and the Fire Service, to give us information on safety, security, prevention of accidents and fires and other such matters.

There is a strong culture of members helping each other, by providing outreach support to each other at critical times, such as when new babies arrive, there are bereavements, illness or emotional upheaval.
